Eastman Kodak Co. has this morning announced two new digital camera models. The Kodak EasyShare CX4200 is a $179 entry-level 2 megapixel model that will ship in October, featuring an all-glass 39mm-equivalent fixed focal-length lens and the latest vogue, an on-camera "share" button that allows preselection of photos for emailing or printing the next time the camera is connected to your computer. Next up is the 3.1 megapixel EasyShare DX4330, which features a useful 3x optical zoom lens. Kodak says that this $349.95 model, slated for early September availability, will feature a new 1.8" "indoor/outdoor" LCD that should be visible even in direct sunlight - this uses a combination of transmissive and reflective properties and an anti-reflective coating. As with the CX4200, there's an on-camera share button; there's also video capabilities including sound recording and playback, courtesy of a built-in microphone and speaker.
