Once again uncovered by our friends at German website digitalkamera.de, the Ricoh Caplio RR211 is one of those cameras we're convinced we've seen before - we're just not sure where. The design is basic, aimed at keeping cost to a minimum - although the camera does have an LCD display, which is one step better than many cameras at this price-point. The 1.92 megapixel effective resolution (the model name suggests perhaps a sensor resolution of 2.11 megapixels, but that's not confirmed) is coupled with a 49mm-equivalent fixed focal-length, fixed-focus lens.

Pricing for the Ricoh Caplio RR211 is set at €130 (US$144 ignoring exchange rate fluctuations, taxes and duties), and the camera should be available in Europe next month. Product specifications courtesy of digitalkamera.de follow:
