The Ricoh Caplio 400G Wide is a ruggedized model with dust and waterproofing, as well as a setting designed to comply with the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's CALS standard (an abbreviation of "Continuous Acquisition and Life-cycle Support") which defines specific requirements for digital images including resolution.
