| Notes & Features: | Autofocus point is selectable via jog dial, Manual focus is by distance gauge. Macro focus has two modes - Normal macro from 20-80 cm, super macro from 0.8-80 cm. Multi-Spot averaging metering permits selection of up to 8 spots to average across. Optional histogram display available in both shooting and playback modes. USB port is storage-class, auto-connects to Windows ME/2000/XP, Mac OS 8.6 and higher. Sharpness, contrast, and color saturation are all adjustable, in +/- 5 steps, arbitrary units. White balance has +/- 7 step fine tuning range, from red to blue. Captured images may be resized and cropped in-camera for later emailing. Panorama function captures up to 10 frames to be stitched on computer with Camedia software, but only available with Olympus-brand SmartMedia cards. Six Scene Program modes available on Virtual Dial first seen on D-550 model. Four My Modes can create four different custom camera settings. |
